Shawnee High School in Medford, NJ reaches out to help Shawnee High School in Shawnee, Oklahoma

On Wednesday, April 19, 2023, several supercells of tornadoes hit and devastated Shawnee High School in central Oklahoma.  The school sustained millions of dollars in damage.

Principal Matt Campbell of Shawnee High School in Medford, NJ, reached out to Principal Matt Johnson of Shawnee High School in Shawnee, Oklahoma.  In his email, Shawnee "Principal Matt" told the other Shawnee "Principal Matt" that the students of Shawnee in New Jersey wanted to coordinate a drive to help the students of Shawnee in Oklahoma.

The email sorta went viral, the news media picked up the story, and here we are, the students of Shawnee in Medford, New Jersey, coordinating a drive to help the students of Shawnee in Shawnee, Oklahoma!

We are the Shawnee Renegades, and we are here to help the Shawnee Wolves!

The drive will focus on ordering via Amazon to help send a "wish list" of items to the students in Oklahoma.
