Mr. Catinella and Mr. Darren Welsh are starting a new counseling group called Wellness Walk Wednesdays where students from study hall can participate in a 1.5 mile outdoor walk around campus with Mr. Catinella and Mr. Welsh.
For the walk, students can choose to talk with Mr. Catinella or Mr. Welsh, talk amongst each other, or be silent.
We will be starting this group on Wednesday, November 13th, and will start with class period 3 (9:39-10:36). It will be a class 1. Then, on the following Wednesday, we will take students from 5th period study halls (12:28-1:25). That will be a class 5. Each Wednesday, we'll alternate between 3rd and 5th periods. This way, all study hall students will have an opportunity to participate at some point, if they choose.
Mr. Catinella or Mr. Welsh will call the study halls at the beginning of the period to announce group. Anyone who is interested, after checking into study hall, can meet in the main office hallway to sign in on the Counseling Center turnstile. The group will head outside from there.
