“My high school experience has given me an opportunity to learn how to work hard, engage with my teachers, and advocate for myself when I need further guidance. I learned that although content is important to learn, ultimately high school teaches students how to work hard and that perseverance will be utilized in whatever career path I ultimately pursue."

Community Service: I am one of the co-founders of Cooking For a Cause Club, which makes various casseroles and donates them to those in need in the Camden area. I also volunteer weekly at Virtua Hospital in the Progressive Care Unit and at the front desk. Additionally, I am the leader of AMP Band, which is a band that plays for retirement homes in the area and I am the leader of the 2025 Camden Toy Drive. I also took part in a medical trip to Costa Rica in the summer of 2025, which partnered with Medlife, an organization that sets up medical clinics in underprivileged communities.

Post-Secondary Education: Tulane University

Major: Neuroscience or Global Studies (pre-med track)

Career Aspirations: I hope to use my medical degree to become an ophthalmologist and eventually travel around the world to help those in underprivileged communities who struggle to get healthcare.
