“Shawnee has prepared me to be successful through the many amazing teachers who create an environment that promotes learning and encourages success every single day. The variety of classes and courses that are offered at Shawnee, taught passionately by knowledgable teachers, have all left a lasting impact on me and my future.  My classes, specifically PLTW and AP Physics, have strengthened my love for engineering and led me down the path to studying mechanical engineering in college.”

Community Service: I am a president of Kids for Wish Kids Club at Shawnee, which supports the NJ Make-a-Wish Foundation. This club helps raise money for kids in need with several different events throughout the year. I also volunteer as a counselor at Camp Sunshine in Maine for their type 1 diabetes week. I volunteer with my dad at the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry in Trenton, where we serve food and take meals & clothes to guests' homes. I also have worked with the football team to volunteer at local events, such as coaching youth football camps and working the Lion's Club Food Drive. Community service is very important to me and has shaped me into the person I am today.

Post-Secondary Education: Bucknell University

Major: Mechanical Engineering 

Career Aspirations: Becoming a Mechanical Engineer has been an aspiration of mine for years because math and physics have always been my favorite subjects and I love to problem solve.
