“My experiences in the Music and Drama Departments at Shawnee have prepared me for success because of their rigorous nature and the opportunities for student leadership.”

Activities: At Shawnee I have played roles in the Fall Drama, played roles and choreographed the Winter Musical, been on the Choir Council for 3 years as Manager, Vice President, and now President, and I have been a member of various clubs such as, Latin club and Youth for Truth, Shawnee Research Society, National Music Honors Society and National World Language Honors Society

Honors/Awards: Student of the Month, Honors Algebra 1 Academic Award, Shawnee Upstander, Principal's Advisory Council, multiple awards on the National Latin Exam during my four years, including Maxima Cum Laude 

Community Service: I volunteer my time at youth theater organizations, helping teach children music and theater. I also sing at various nursing homes and hospitals. 

Post-Secondary Education: Ithaca College

Major: Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre 

Career Aspirations: I would love to work in the acting industry, whether that be film or on stage. I would like to make a living performing, directing, and writing, using my voice to inspire positive change in the world through the art of storytelling.
