Malik Allen, Shawnee Basketball, Class of 1996

Shawnee 1572 Career Points, most blocked shots in a season. 
Played NBA 10 Seasons (Miami Heat, Detroit Pistons, Chicago Bulls.)
NBA Assistant Coach, Detroit Pistons.
 

Richard (Dick) Brown, Contributor

Known as the “founding father” of the Medford Youth Athletic
Association.   Pioneer in coaching/scouting football.  Over 50 years of service promoting
athletics in Medford/Medford Lakes.
 

Sean Doolittle, Shawnee Baseball, Class of 2004

23 Strikeouts in 2003 Baseball final. 
2018 University of Virginia Hall of Fame, volunteer work includes military families, Syrian refugees,
and families of cancer patients.  Professional Baseball Player, Washington Nationals.
 

Brian Earl, Shawnee Basketball, Class of 1995

Shawnee 1608 career points, record 3rd in career steals,
2nd in career 3-point shots.  Head Basketball Coach at Cornell University.
 

Jamie Franks, Shawnee Soccer, Class of 2005

Shawnee – 2004 High School Player of the Year, 3-time SJSCA
Player of the Year, 2004 BCT Player of the Year.  Head Soccer Coach, University of Denver.
NSCAA National Coach of the Year 2016.
 

Holly McGarvie Reilly, Shawnee Lacrosse and Field Hockey, Class of 2005

Shawnee accomplishments:  11 Varsity Letters, 4 x 800 Relay State Champion. 
Junior/Senior Years:  All American LAX, All State,
All SJ, All Conference, Courier-Post
Player of the Year.  Gold Medalist World Cup Women’s Lacrosse 2009 and 2013.

 

Sue Rudderow Murphy, Contributor as Shawnee Lacrosse Coach 1979-2006

Shawnee Girls Head Lacrosse Coach 1979-2006: 7 Lacrosse State Titles,
3 Sectional Titles, 14 League Titles;
Assistant Field Hockey coach 1983-1995;
Athletic Director 2006-2015.

 

Lynlee Phillips, Shawnee Track and Field, Class of 1999

Shawnee:  School records shot put, javelin, and discus. South Jersey Record (Javelin,)
Outstanding Athlete 1999.  Penn Relays 2nd Place 1998/1999,
Olympic Trials 2000. 
National All-American 2002; SJ Track Coaches Hall of Fame 2010.

 

Gregg Rakoczy, Shawnee Football, Track and Field, Class of 1983

Shawnee:  All State, All South Jersey, 2nd Team All County.  Volunteer work for youth
football clinics.  All American, 2nd round NFL draft pick (32nd.) 

81 NFL Games: Cleveland Browns (1987-90,) New England Patriots (1991-92).
 

Cathy Reynolds, Shawnee Golf -first female, Field Hockey and Basketball, Class of 1979

Shawnee accomplishments: First female to qualify/play on boy’s Athletic team (Golf,) all 4 years. 
Field Hockey 1977 State Championship.  
Unsung Hero 1977.  Winner Penn State Invitational 1980,
2-time Regional All-American, LPGA Urban Youth 2001 
Carrie Russel Compassion & Devotion Award;
LPGA Class A professional since 2004,
Named Philadelphia Magazine’s Top 25 Teachers in Region 2008. 
Director of LPGA/USGA
Girls Golf West Chester, PA, Director of Women’s Golf Gives Back Program
(providing low
cost golf instruction and coaching to girls 7-18 years old).
